The certificate
The Daimler Corporate Archives offer owners of classic Mercedes-Benz vehicles an exclusive optional service: certification for Mercedes-Benz classic cars. This prestigious certificate is the manufacturer's confirmation of all archived delivery data for a classic Mercedes-Benz.

Based on the chassis number stated in the vehicle documentation, a personalized, attractively designed certificate is made out for contemporary and traditional classic cars. The certificate lists the equipment features and delivery data in an appealing format.

The Corporate Archives have a virtually complete range of vehicle data cards, engine and vehicle records as well as order books at their disposal and can unmistakably verify the original specifications of practically every passenger car ever built of the Mercedes and Mercedes-Benz brands. The archived information ranges from internal order, bodywork and engine numbers through to the place of delivery and dates back to the year 1890.

The certificate is produced in high-grade embossed printing and individually made out for the owner of the classic car. Since the name of the owner is entered in an order book of the Corporate Archives, the certificate is also suitable as an enduring personal gift.

Upon presentation of proof of ownership (e.g. copy of the vehicle papers), the certificate is available at a price of EUR 100 plus postage and can be ordered in writing from:
